Lviv Convention Bureau organized a brunch with Ambassadors, where they told about the Program of Lviv Honorary Ambassadors , 1 million for national conferences and high-quality organized online conferences.
At the meeting, Deputy Mayor for Development Andriy Moskalenko announced that the Executive Committee of Lviv City Council supported the funding of national conferences to be held in Lviv in 2021. The support package for the development of the conference industry in Lviv includes co-financing of all-Ukrainian conferences in the amount of 1 million UAH, free conference halls, a system of discounts for accommodation and meals for delegates.
Lviv Honorary Ambassador Stepan Veselovsky told how preparations are being made for IT Arena conference, which will be held online this year due to the pandemic. During the preparations, his team pays attention to two things: information security and system stability. The challenge in organizing the event online was to find suppliers who will be able to work live for three days, technically provide high-quality inclusion of all speakers, interactivity for participants, continuous broadcast.
Stepan Veselovsky noted that an online event does not bring such added value to the city as an offline event. It will not be able to replace the live communication, which is very often attended by all participants. However, online and hybrid events will be around for a long time to come, and you need to learn how to make them interesting and professional. Accordingly, IT Arena organizes special studios for filming, develops new approaches to content delivery, tests various streaming platforms.
Applications for the title of Lviv Honorary Ambassador 2020-2022 lasts until September 30.
