The main organizer of educational exchanges, trainings between oncologists is the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the United States, which is a leader in the treatment of childhood cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
The hospital has initiated an ambitious global project, the essence of which is the exchange of knowledge, technology and organizational skills between doctors from around the world to improve the level of treatment of children with cancer.
Every year, training takes place in 24 partner countries of the program with the participation of local medical institutions, leading specialists of the hospital with one goal – to save more children’s lives.
Lviv Honorary Ambassador – Roman Kizyma – is a member of the Eurasian Alliance of Pediatric Oncologists of the St. Jude Global SIOP program. He has repeatedly participated in hospital activities in other countries. Now, on his initiative, international doctors will visit Lviv, where together with local colleagues they will share their experience and latest practices.
