An online international conference of the «Christmas Readings» series, hosted by the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, was held in Lviv on December 10-11, 2020. The conference is organized by Lviv Honorary Ambassador Valentyna Chopyak.
The theme of this year’s conference is dedicated to the currently topical problem of humanity «CHALLENGES OF TODAY: COVID-19 AND IMMUNOCOMPROMISED PATIENTS». Nearly 500 participants from across Ukraine and other countries listened to the reports of speakers from the USA, Great Britain, India, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, Belarus, participated in the discussion, asked and answered questions at 17 scientific and practical platforms.
The conference was structured into a Plenary Session «Challenges of COVID 19 and the Readiness of Society to Counteract», and 4 breakout sessions, which had their own subsections.
