We have a great opportunity to once again introduce Lviv Honorary Ambassador, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery of Lviv National Medical University named after Danylo Halytsky Andriy Kuzyk.
Mr. Andriy is the Vice-President of the All-Ukrainian Association of Pediatric Surgeons, a member of the European Association of Pediatric Surgeons (EUPSA), a member of the European Society of Pediatric Endoscopic Surgeons (ESPES), and an expert of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in Pediatric Surgery.
In 2017 and 2018, he co-organized the Ukrainian-Polish conference «Days of Pediatric Surgery», which was attended by more than 300 doctors from Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, Canada and the United States. During the conference, a master class on «living surgery» – laparoscopic and plastic surgery, speakers made 23 reports.
In 2018 – organizer of the scientific-practical conference «Modern technologies in pediatric surgery. Fundamentals of plastic and minimally invasive surgery in children». Special guests at the conference were Dariusz Wyrzykowski and Marcin Losin, pediatric surgeons of the Clinic of Surgery of Children and Youth of the Gdańsk Medical University, xperts in Poland in the field of plastic and minimally invasive surgery. During the conference, 4 operations were performed (2 plastic and 2 laparoscopic), 25 consultations of patients with complex congenital malformations, vascular malformations, tumors.
In 2019, he co-organized a scientific-practical conference «Practical aspects of minimally invasive surgery in children», the program of which included free workshops from international experts for pediatric surgeons from all over Ukraine.
