Transparency International Ukraine, an accredited representative of the global movement Transparency International, which has a comprehensive approach to the development and implementation of changes to reduce corruption level, has announced a new Board. Lviv Honorary Ambassador Pavlo Sheremeta is one of its members.
Seven candidates submitted their resumes and descriptions of their vision of TI Ukraine development. The members of the organization chose the winners by ballot vote at the regular Conference, which took place on December 5.
The winners are Andriy Vyshnevskyi, Andriy Rozhdestvenskyi, Matthew S. Stevenson, Tanya Khavanska and Pavlo Sheremeta
The Board of TI Ukraine is the governing body of the organization, which is elected at the Conference of the public organization members for a term of two years, by the decision of the Conference is formed of five people. The Board considers and approves the activities of the organization, the annual budget and work plan, approves program documents. The full powers and responsibilities of the Board of TI Ukraine are outlined in the Statute of the organization.
Pavlo Sheremeta is a managing economist, founder of the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School (KMBS), and former president of the Kyiv School of Economics. In 2014, Mr. Sheremeta was the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine. Worked in the Supervisory Boards of a number of Ukrainian and international organizations in the private and public sectors.
