Online convocation of the St. Jude Global Alliance, located in the United States, took place On December 10-11. Roman Kizyma represented Ukraine, Eastern Europe and Asia in a discussion with hundreds of international experts.
700 participants from 70 countries discussed new practices for treatment of pediatric oncology diseases.
St. Jude Global Alliance creates opportunities for clinical groups, researchers, politicians and others around the world to collaborate, communicate and share resources and experiences to support the common goal of improving the survival of children with oncology diseases.
Roman Kizyma – Pediatric Oncologist of the Advisory Clinic and Surgery Department of MNE LRC WUSCMC, expert of the permanent working group of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on specialized support of public procurements in the line of «Centralized procurement of medicinal products and medical devices for the treatment of children with oncology and hemato-oncological diseases», expert of Ministry of Health of Ukraine Committee for referral to treatment abroad; member of the Ukrainian Association of Children’s Palliative Care, a full member of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP), as well as a member of EurADO/St Jude Global – Eurasian Alliance in Pediatric Oncology of ST Jude Global SIOP program.
