The Western Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Medical Center during the war established cooperation with international partners on the transportation of cancer patients children from the combat zones for treatment to European hospitals. Poland and Polskie Towarzystwo Onkologii i Hematologii Dziecięcej play an incredible role in the project and in all support of Ukraine. Hundreds of doctors, army and police, volunteers and transporters together rescue Ukrainian young patients.

Roman Kizyma, Andriy Kuzyk, Lviv Honorary Ambassadors working in the WUSCMC became co-organizers of sending children for treatment to European clinics. Since the beginning of the war, it has been possible to organize 8 “convoys of life”.
