We continue to introduce you newly elected Lviv Honorary Ambassadors. We are glad to talk about persons who promote Lviv on the national and world arena. Today we would like to present vice-rector for scientific work Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, candidate of medical sciences, docent of pediatric surgery department, doctor of medical sciences, and professor of department of pediatric surgery – Andrii Nakonechnyi.
Andrii Nakonechnyi is a member of the presidium of All-Ukrainian association of pediatric surgeons and the European Paediatric Surgeons’ Association. He is a speaker at different medical conferences, symposiums, congresses.
Moreover, he has been organizing medical events since 2015. For example, he organized Canadian-Ukrainian international scientific and practical conference «Current issues of pediatric urology», scientific-practical conference «Modern technologies in pediatric surgery. Fundamentals of Plastic and Mini-Invasive Surgery in Children», scientific-practical conference «Practical aspects of mini-invasive surgery in children».
Last year Andrii Nakonechnyi organized the twelfth course of Central and Eastern Europe in children’s surgery on the theme «Neonatal and Minimal Invasive Surgery». More than 260 delegates from 19 countries of the world took part in course.
