Another doctor joined the company of Lviv Honorary Ambassadors. Lviv Convention Bureau is glad to tell you more about the newly elected Honorary Ambassador, Candidate of Medical Sciences, physician-therapist of the cardiology department at Westpfalz Klinikum – Hryhoriy Kyyak.
Mr. Hryhoriy is a young Ambassador of the European Association of Preventive Cardiology in Ukraine 2018-2020, 2020-2022. He is a member of the Ukrainian Association of Cardiologists, the European Association of Cardiologists (EAPC), as well as a full member and Ambassador of the European Association for Preventive Cardiology.
In 2018, Hryhoriy Kyyak organized the International Conference on Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (EAPC). Professors Hugo Sanera (Switzerland) and Jopa Perka (Sweden) arrived in Lviv to speak at the event. For the first time they conducted a practical course on cardiovascular rehabilitation from the European Association of Cardiology. At the conference, the speakers talked about how to implement cardiorehabilitation in Ukraine, what world best practices should be borrowed and adapted to Ukrainian realities, how to create an effective multidisciplinary team in which each specialist will clearly understand their role in providing cardiovascular rehabilitation.
