On January 10, 2021, the V International Congress of Medical Law was held at the Law Faculty of the Dokuz Eylül University (Istanbul, Turkey). Lviv Honorary Ambassador Iryna Senyuta was a guest speaker.
During the congress, Ms. Iryna shared her experience of teaching medical law in medical and legal higher educational establishments in Ukraine at the pre-graduate level and presented a range of educational opportunities at the post-graduate level. She covered the teaching of medical law at the Department of Medical Law of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University for medical workers and students. She also revealed the teaching of medical law for lawyers on the basis of the UNBA Higher School of the Bar, provided by members of the Committee of Medical and Pharmaceutical Law and Bioethics of the Ukrainian National Bar Association, the establishment of the UNBA Medical Law Center, the experience of teaching the CE HELP course «Key human rights principles in Biomedicine», which is carried out on the basis of NAAU HSB.
