Barcelona hosted a conference on pediatric oncology – SIOP 2022, which brought together 3,400 participants from 136 countries. 45 doctors from Ukraine attended the event. Roman Kizyma, Lviv Honorary Ambassador, was among the members of the Ukrainian delegation.
At the conference, Ukrainian doctors held a separate session together with Childhood Cancer International, were honored among the leaders of world pediatric oncology/hematology at the Presidents’ dinner. During the 4 days of the event, there was a separate section of SAFER UKRAINE, where it was possible to get acquainted with the humanitarian project on assistance for the transportation for the treatment of cancer patients Ukrainian children.
