The European Forum of Medical Associations (EFMA), the World Medical Association (WMA), the Standing Committee of European Doctors (CPME) and the Israel Medical Association (IMA) will donate more than 1 million euros of medical care.
These are turnstiles for the military, hemostatic gauzes, and medicines for civilians, which are difficult to find, in particular medicines for children suffering from endocrine diseases. The first part of the cargo – expensive and powerful antibiotics, hemostatics, analgesic and hormonal medicine– for a total amount of 37,500 hryvnias has already been transferred to the First Territorial Medical Association of the city of Lviv. Some will be arriving shortly. Assistance has already been provided to the Ministry of Health bases, so medical institutions can prepare the need. Volunteers who work in hotspots will also be able to get medicines.
The Lviv Honorary Ambassador Andriy Bazylevych leads the process of transferring medicines. At the beginning of the war, he turned to partner organizations for help. And here are the first cargoes already in Lviv.
