The Lviv IT Cluster together with the Lviv City Council and the First Territorial Medical Union of Lviv launched an initiative to create a Mental Health Center. This was reported by the CEO of the Lviv IT Cluster, the Lviv Honorary Ambassador Stepan Veselovskyi.

Within the framework of the Center’s work, the assistance of professional psychotherapists, psychiatrists and psychologists will be available to combatants, internally displaced persons and all those who need support during such a difficult time.

The facility will operate on the basis of an outpatient clinical center in the First Territorial  Medical Union of Lviv. At the Center, people will be able to attend individual consultations, undergo group therapy and receive comprehensive care of various levels. You will be able to get an appointment with a referral from your family doctor.

The center will operate on a permanent basis, as part of a large initiative to build the National Rehabilitation Center “Ubroken”.

All the necessary costs associated with the repair and arrangement of premises are financed by the Lviv IT Cluster, and one of the largest benefactors is the company participating in the Lviv IT Cluster JustAnswer. The cost of creating the Center reaches more than 5 million hryvnias.

“On the first days of the full-scale war, we began to organize Centers for Temporarily Displaced Persons together with the city. And more than ten thousand people got shelter there. But we understand that more needs to be done. We learned about the Mental Health Center from the city authorities and our Supervisory Board decided to support this decision. In addition, the topic of psychological, mental health is relevant for representatives of our industry. Because hundreds of thousands of people from the north, south, and east of Ukraine have forcibly left their homes. And they need support,” says Stepan Veselovskyi, CEO of the Lviv IT Cluster.
